While they take a breather, Ulfgard suddenly wanders into the mists, before his companions have a chance to stop him. The dwarf does not return, but from the mists comes forth a new stranger, Ander the Illuskan paladin. The Heroes inform the new arrival about their current situation, and they forge an alliance of sorts.
The Heroes continue the exploration of the mansion, investigating an adjacent cemetery and an empty mausoleum. When they reach the upper floors of the compound, they face more revenants. Once again, the battle proves them greatly, and they are forced to barricade themselves in a spacious bedroom to get some rest.
